The structure of a portable charging gun

The portable charging gun is mainly composed of a charging gun head, a high-voltage charging cable, a cable control box, and a 220V three-phase plug. The gun head usually has a mechanical lock and an unlock button to prevent the gun head from falling off the charging port on the car during charging, as shown in Figure 1.

The AC charging port of a new energy vehicle is a 7-hole structure, as shown in Figure 2, and the definition of each terminal is shown in Table 1. Most charging guns have mechanical locks and electronic locks. Press the mechanical lock button on the gun head, and the mechanical lock will be lifted. After the gun head is inserted into place, release the mechanical lock button, and the mechanical lock of the gun head will be stuck in the mechanical lock slot of the charging port on the car to ensure that the charging gun will not fall off. After closing the car door (locking the car) with the car key, the electronic lock of the charging gun will be activated. At this time, the electronic lock pin controlled by the electromagnetic switch extends outward, inserts into the electronic lock hole, and presses against the top of the mechanical lock, so that the mechanical lock cannot be removed from the mechanical lock slot. At this time, the charging gun cannot be pulled out of the charging port. After pressing the unlock button of the car key, the electronic lock pin will exit the lock hole. At this time, press the mechanical lock button, and the mechanical lock buckle will exit the lock slot, and the charging gun can be pulled out. Therefore, the electronic lock exists to prevent the charging gun from being maliciously pulled out during the charging process, but vehicles without a charging gun electronic lock do not have this function.
